ZF8 downshift

Hi all, quick and hopefully simple question. For the 2014 Ram 1500, 5.7, is the downshift on the zf8 transmissions only influenced by shift schedule table, or does the torque demand tables also play a role? For example, if you apply a light throttle input, will only the table be used, or will the trans kick down more aggressively if the TB airflow or demand tables are adjusted?

There are much more inputs to shift schedule than the table...
Depending on the vehicle you have, transmission will take into account:
- Engine information (engine brake, for example)
- deceleration
- brake pressure
- ...

So, hard to give you a final answer without a logger and description of the situation
