    V6 Tuning

I have a friend asking about tuning his 2017 V6 Charger. I am never worked with the 6 cylinder platform before.

Do they have the same ZF8speed trans as V8 cars?

The plan is to dyno tune it in a few weeks. Can we expect to see a small gain with tuning on the dyno? Does anyone have any problems/concerns/pointers for tuning the V6 or the trans that is mated to it? I am only familiar with the 5.7s and 6.4 models.

Anyone have example files that I can preview prior to being first exposed to his file on the dyno? Thanks in advanced.

The V6 8 Speed is a different transmission, but the tune is 90-95% the same.

The PENTASTAR can gain 15-20 WHP peak and 25-35 WHP/WTQ midrange on 93 octane. Roughly 0.4-0.6 seconds off the 0-60 MPH (engine & trans tune).

If you have enough intake & exhaust mods, the engine can build power up to 7,000 RPM.

If you somehow managed to put an 8HP90 behind a Challenger V6, could it be made to work?

Also, if you just went manual with a manual trans somehow, could that be made to work, not losing any ABS or other car functions?

Also, how do you tune it for boost if you wanted to start adding your own turbo setup?
