E40 2bar SD upgrade with patches

I need to upgrade to the 2 bar os for a lsa blower, do you upgrade the os then write entire, then apply the patches and write again or do you apply the 2 bar update and patches at the same time? Thanks

Apply the OS patch, then make NO OTHER CHANGES AT ALL FOR ANY REASON, then save with a new name.

Now you can open the new file and make other changes, and then do your write-entire.

Before you get to the point of writing the file to the car, you really, really need to apply the new OS and study the new file very closely to see what all gets changed and figure out which of those things needs to be un-changed. It is not idiot proof.
