Cannot Add/Use AEM X-Series OBDII Wideband Channel in Scanner

Murphy's Law rears its ugly head again.

I bought my 30-0334 X-Series OBDII Wideband Gauge from HPT in August and worked fine and logged numerous pulls in HP Tuners VCM Suite until... two weeks ago!

Now, I open channel selector and tap the "Broadcast Channels" icon, the correct channel (I believe), External Inputs > AEM > X-Series UEGO (30-03xx) "AEM channel 12 WB EQ Ratio 1", is highlighted in blue.

When I double click it, it's added to my channel list, but it's greyed out and a broken link icon shows up, whereas all the others have polling channel icons. (See attached)

If I then click Start Scan", the AEM channel is removed (?)

Help! I can't be the only such unfortunate HPT user.

    The car is a 2020 ZL1.

It's not an External Input, it is its own controller on the network.

Would you snip and post an image showing where it's located on the channel selector? Thanks

Here's what my channel selector looks like:

Typing OBD or controller finds nothing relevant. Typing WB only finds the attached under external devices. And I only see 0x7E0 thru E3

    1. Delete contents of folder, HP Tuners\VCM Scanner\Vehicles
    2. Download current HPT Suite (or Beta) and MVPI drivers,
    3. Connect the laptop to OBDII,
    4. Put the car in service mode, WB should power on,
    5. Wait 20 sec. for WB sensor to warm up,
    6. Select mode "obd2" on the AEM gauge,
    7. Close HPT Editor and open Scanner.
    8. Click "connect to vehicle" in scanner,
    9. Vehicle>Repoll vehicle parameters,
    10. Click gear icon with green + "add channel"
    11. [add new channel] dbl click "WB EQ Ratio 1 SAE " under OBD2 [I don't remember the entire channel tree]. Do not click any External Inputs.
    12. Click "Start Scan", the WB channel should remain in list and display active scan data.
    13. Push ignition button to exit service mode.
    14. Start engine, start scan, and the WB channel should display active scan data.
