My tuner bought an MPVi3 with 6 credits for me to tune my Cts-v,Bare with me im new at this i downloaded the MpvI on my laptop so i can see peramaters at the track. He asked me if i registered it and i said no.My queston is i paid good money for this thing if he registers it is it still my unit? and can anybody tune my car with it? or do i need another one registered in my name?

You really shouldn't be loaning your device to someone so that they can register it, this can definitely cause issues down the line with proving who actually owns the device.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Would this be a proprietor thing for him so that he has ownership for tunes?
this would be an ownership thing, for instance lets say you loan him your device and he registers it and purchases a credit on the device, he is now part owner of the device legally.
