what i have been doing to get the best mpg is where I cruise, I try to keep higher rail psi like 20,000 psi, timing right around -1 to +2 it will vary with hills wind load etc and minimal boost. this will keep the pulse short and sweet.
i would post up a log or two in the cruise zone and set max rail to 180 mpa and add some psi to start with.

so I was always under the impression that it was around +8 deg gives the best MPG but its hazy. You get good milage at -1 to +2?? My Rail Pressure is a little low.... Your saying raise the rail pressure to around 20,000 and try is out?
