6.7 f250 dead from initial mini max install

I have a buddies truck 2011 f250 with the 6.7 while installing the mini max tuner for the first time I followed all prompts and mini max was pulling the stock tune from the truck and failed not truck won?t talk to the tuner because it doesn?t know who it is. I?m fairly new to all this and was wondering if anyone can help me or has a stock tune for the truck I can place in the tuner to get the truck recovered
