I'm logging Base VE and Total VE for both banks, my question is , Base VE in my logs are they the numbers in the VE table , and Total VE in my logs is what the Engine is actually hitting ?

yes the total ve is calucated based on fuel trims. the Base VE is what is in the pcm as a look up value and is used as a base before any corrections.
