I am nearly done with my 2011 pursuit 392 swap. I decided to keep the NAG1 and leave the HP70 out for now. I am currently looking for a stock charger SRT8 tune, however I also have some questions. So the apache 392 put out 460hp where as my 2020 BGE 392 puts out 485hp. I would imagine that the tunes are mildly different? Can anyone confirm this? My idea was to take a stock srt8 392 tune (has the NAG1 shift points I need) and then cross reference that to a 2020 BGE tune and make any necessary modifications. Am I missing anything? Again I am primarily looking for a stock srt8 (392) tune to get the car going. Any and all help is much appreciated.
The 2011-214 and the 2015+ 392's are for the most part identical. From what I have read in the past is when Dodge was developing the 392 their Engine Dyno was limited to around 475hp. They officially settled at rating it 470/470. When development of the Hellcat motor they had to make upgrades and were able to get a more accurate numbers on the 392. I could imagine switching to electric power steering would free up a few HP. But for the most part the two generations Dyno about the same at the wheel.
