    NGC4 Cold start rpm.

So I have a 07 GC with an HRT stage two CompCam. Starts, idles and drives ok, still a work in progress. The one thing that I haven't been able to figure out is what tables control start up rpm. I know there have been a couple other posts about it but havent seemed to help. Would appreciate any suggestions

    Hemi start up idle.png

Set the rpm to what you want based on the coolant temp

I have made numerous changes to these tables. They are all set to 750 which is what it always settles down to after. Its the first 40 to 60 seconds that it sits at 1000rpm. It would be higher but i have the rpm cut set to that.

i would set the spark minimum back to stock for a test. the timing flat lines at 0 degrees after startup. The pcm may keep idle speed higher due to not being able to reduce timing to control it.

The min. spark has no effect on the start up idle hot or cold. Still at a loss as to what is controlling it.

sometimes it's the nature of the beast but try this,

I lowered your Max Airflow to 500G/s
And Table 12882 lowered the 1st couple cells by 3% details are in the Calibration notes tab.

Are you talking about this part here , the initial "roar" after key start ?

Not so much the initial, but it will sit at 1000 rpm for about 60 seconds then settle down to 752. Its the 1000rpm I am trying figure out. I have the Maximum Set Point in Idle Rpm tab table 44231 set to 1000 otherwise it sits at 1200-1300 then slowly settles down. Does it hot or cold....

I did notice that was changed as well. Haven't played with that table too much.
