new guy with a general question

    Hello all,

I have what i think is an easy general question. I'm looking to put a GM LS engine in my square body Chevy. It's from a 2000 Silverado, which i believe is the LM7 engine. Is there anything other than the MPVI3(and appropriate credits) that i would need to purchase to get the truck running, turn off required things(egr/passlock/electronic trans)? Obviously I will need to go through the training info on how to do it. Just want to be sure I have every thing i need ahead of time. Thanks

If the engine is staying stock, no you shouldn't require anything else.

Make sure that you are running the required fuel pressure for the LS engine and all should be good.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
