What are you guys changing in the tune for the 4l80 swaps. I usually do a segment swap but it won't let me with the separate tcm. Anyone have a file I can check out? Also, if we bypass the prndl do we need to adjust anything?

We sell a "no segment swap needed" harness. Else people typically use a 4l80e express van TCM in that setup with some re-wiring. The switch from the 4l70 will be reused on the 4l80.

Anyone have a TCM file for a 4l80 swap on an 07 TBSS? Someone has to have done this already.
What segment number do you need? I've got one in a truck that was a 70 to 80 swap if it'll help you.
Just remembered how you have to do this. You can't do a segment swap as one doesn't exist - knew there was something screwy with it, but couldn't remember... To load an 80 calibration where you currently have a 70's - find one for the same year model and make sure it's got the right tables - do a write entire to the transmission side of the calibration only with this file. Read entire calibration back out of the ecm/tcm. License this and now you have an 80 OS.... Requires licensing a few different times unfortunately. Like I said I've got a truck file if you need it that this was all done to.

I couldn't figure this one out because it's an 07. I think all the HD 4l80 trucks ran the old ecms. The TBSS in 07 had an independent tcm and it won't let you do the segment swap. I ended up buying the cable that has all the wires pinned properly. Worked out
