    LSA Injector Swap into LS3

I am about to drop in some LSA injectors into my N/A LS3 due to a flex fuel conversion and I have a few questions.

    1) Are these all the tables I need to copy over? I am pulling the data from a CTS-V file from the repository.
    2) And then I am not sure about the Min Rail Pressure. Normally my fuel pressure is 400 kPA (58 PSI)...so I am not sure if I need to change this? Is this needed if the car had a blower?

[ECM] 12307 - Injector Flow Rate vs. Pressure Delta
[ECM] 12319 - Injector Flow Rate Modifier vs. IAT
[ECM] 33390 - Injector Flow Mult vs. MAP
[ECM] 33392 - Injector Flow Mult vs. Fuel Flow
[ECM] 12315 - Minimum Injector Pulsewidth
[ECM] 13541 - Minimum Rail Pressure (LS3 was 300 kPa, LSA is 150 kPa)
[ECM] 13542 - Maximum Rail Pressure (LS3 and LSA are both 600 kPa)
[ECM] 12303 - Injector Offset vs. Injector Temp
[ECM] 12308 - Injector Offset vs. Pressure Delta vs. IGNV
[ECM] 12314 - Short Pulse Adder
[ECM] 13341 - Makeup Pulse Minimum

I am no tuner however I did make an injector change like you are asking about. I have an L92 that I put a LS3 intake and injectors on. The L92 had 30# injectors and the LS3 has 42# injectors. Injectors are rated at around 60 psi so I slid the flow rate versus pressure from 30 at 60 to 42 at 60. Next my cars fuel system operates right at 50 psi. I set my max and min rail pressure at 50. I do not know for sure but I think that without a rail pressure range the ecm is probably not trying to go to a modification table based on fuel pressure. I left all the other modifiers as they were. To be clear this worked for me and the engine runs. I am taking it to a tuner soon.

LSA injectors have a LSA-port-specific spray pattern, they may not be the best choice. The L96 injectors are right around the same flow rate, have a conventional spray pattern, and are much much cheaper.

Well I got the LSA ones for cheap and they are already installed LOL. TBH transient fueling seems to be improved! Wonky spray pattern FTW!

Sell them for $300 and buy 12613412s for $55.

Hmm you make a compelling argument! Are they plug and play on the LS3 manifold, fuel rail, and wire harness?

Same EV6 connector, same upper o-ring, about 0.300" taller overall so might need rail spacers or might not it just depends on how the injector locates in the port, lower o-ring is slightly different size. McMaster can solve that though.

You can use L94 flex fuel injectors. They are direct fit.

They also do not cost $55/set. There is some supply chain weirdness with the 12613412s, and only that number. There is a huge surplus of them for some reason.

They aren't. I have a set. Many others here bought the same $55/set ones and can confirm they are 100% genuine. That number is only $21/ea from reputable retailers, and still only $35/ea direct from GM dealers. No other injector is that cheap. It is the one and only weird injector part number. All the other numbers (the not-fake ones) are ~$80 each.

This should be the right o-ring to make it fit the LS3 intake bung:
    https://www.mcmaster.com/9262K994/

The lower o-ring seat on the 12613412 injector is 10mm dia x 2.95mm wide, does not work with reusing LS3 o-rings (those are 8mm dia x 3.5mm).

That's not to say that every cheap injector claiming to be 12613412 is genuine... of course there are Chinese fakes of that number. There are Chinese fakes of everything.

Wow, so you paste that onto the end of every post, so that even the people who are specifically trying to not see annoyingly-long signatures are forced to look at it every time? Very cool.

There were some errors in my quote, I think they're all fixed now though.
