I have the mpvi3 I purchased two credits for my 2012 Silverado 1500. I read the vehicle and saved the file synced the interface and made one small changed to start I disabled DOD. When i went to write the file it says I don't have a license for this file.
Not sure what I did wrong. Any help is appreciated..

sounds like you read the FSCM which requires a separate license.
1. reread ecm/tcm only, DO NOT READ THE FSCM
2. remove the fscm portion of the calibration from the file under the tune details window.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I see that you should hit gather info first to deselect the FSCM from being read.
First time doing something is always a learning curve.
