    8.1 marine injectors

I have a question about installing 8.1 marine injectors in a 2005 Silverado with the "return less" fuel system. How do you come up with the values to put in the injector flow rate vs kpa? The values are not straight a crossed the board as they vary with vacuum not fuel pressure.

Use the 0 kPa values for both ifr and offset across the entire table.

Thanks for the reply. The problem I seem to have is that fuel pressure is a constant at 58 psi and injectors flow differently with vacuum not with regulator pressure. The factory injectors are 0 kpa 24.49 and it slowly rises to 27.10 at 80 kpa. I found a tune on here that was for the 8.1 injectors 0 kpa was 41.98 and slowly raised to 46.44 at 80 kpa. My question is how do I get those numbers? Sorry if I am missing something here I am new to tuning computers.

I'm sorry, lately I have just not been reading the posts clearly....

Here is data I used during a project Tahoe truck for one of our international clients. Seemed to run good and drivability was good as well.

This data was developed on a 5.3l auto so "your mileage may vary" :-)

Yeah I see it has an attachment but for some reason it won't open for me. Not sure why? For HPT don't I just need the flow rate at a certain pressure and my own rail pressure? Could you just tell me the flow at a certain pressure?

Well I figured it out, I can't open attachments on the mobile view. Can you tell me what fuel pressure this is at?

mowton, If I am just replacing the stock injectors in my 5.3/4L60e with the injector referenced above, is this all I would need to consider is changing the data? Engine is a 99 in a 91 OBS btw.

You know that post from Mowton was 7 years ago?
But to answer your question, Yes if your using the 8.1 marine injectors then you will need the data from his spreadsheet but are you using the 99 return style fuel system?
