RE: E38 Speedo output and fuel level

Hello,

I have fitted a VF L77 & 6L80 to my VZ 1 tonner, it currently starts, runs and drives no problems but have a couple of little issues I'm trying to work through.

The fuel level readout in VCM scanner is always 0 (for fuel tank level ratio and volume) but it shows 2.09V on fuel tank level sensor 1 and 2. I read 171Ohms across pin 16 & 31 as well as 16 & 70 which is in range of the service manual (between 40 & 250 Ohms). So as far as I can tell, the ECM is receiving the correct input data not not generating a level output for some reason, what can cause this?

Am I trying to do something here that won't work?
