I did everything you listed 2006 TBSS and so far my only issue is the indicator stays in P. The trans shifts and doesn't throw codes. Im having PCM of NC do remote tuning for me so I can change anything yet. I can ask them to make adjustments when I email the logs for tune updates. Your advice and tune are much appreciated!

Im still having the issue of the PRNDL going from Park to 2 and 3rd. The trans shift great and correctly. Just the PRNDL issue.

You have the real 80E OS with all the right segments to make the PRNDL work in a GMT360 and are NOT using Alvin's adapter harness?

Correct. I used the OP's posted tune for segment swaps and changed the wiring on my own. I every works as it should except for the PRNDL on the dash.

im going to go over all of the trans related connectors, tcm, pnp swtich and 20 pin to see if I missed something.

Take this as an unknown as my buddy isnt awake now for me to try and confirm and this was a customers vehicle I saved the file from.

2007 TBSS with working 4l80, I do not BELIEVE it had a conversion harness but can NOT confirm at the moment.

(HP Tuners has the labels wrong for the segments, in parentheses is the correct labels direct from SPS)

The '07 Suburban file that gets used a lot has:

Still no dice. The PRNDL only stays in P until I shift to 1st, it will go to 1st, 2nd and Park. No R,N or 3rd. I had reported it went into 3rd and 2nd but was mistaken.

I want to keep moving forward with my project. I think im going to conceded and go with a bought kit. I need to get my truck tuned and this is the last piece.

He did a 4l80 swap kit that used a TCM os out of something else. as far as I know the PRNDL works. I've done trucks with them before and I don't remeber them not working. IF I can think of a name I'll try to find a TCM file for you.

Honestly this is the biggest reason why we did our harness like we did.. Sure you should be able to find a OS that works but knowing what obscure OS works for whichever application is a nightmare.. and there are times where there flat out aren't any options. Like 98 LS1

I messaged him from his site. Its a holiday week so likely next week. I picked up Boludos kit with TCM. Hopefully that will get some sorted out. I completely understand when you talk about the nightmare of trying to get things to work where there can be so many subtle differences.

I did pick up a swap kit, but I kept lingering on why my swap didn't work. The trans was operating correctly and my only issue was the PRNDL. I retraced all of my work from the trans to the TCM. For some reason I had moved the transmission range signal B to another pin location on the TCM. When I started the wiring part, I had the engine harness off the truck. I also had a lot of interruptions.

Can confirm, I am up and running 100% I originally used the tune file simman32 posted and that is what I am currently using with everything working. I do have a harness and tuned TCM if someone is interested. Will work TBSS 06-07.
