    New to HP TUNERS

I have a 2014 Tahoe with a 5.3 GEN 4?. I recently bought the MPVI3 and disabled the DOD? I would like to figure out how to tune this vehicle for better throttle response, more power and torque, without doing many modifications? everything is stock as of now, will be buying cold air in take soon.. any help would be greatly appreciated

The tans tuning will make it a way better suv to drive...
Turn off the lock up in 1-3 gears... Reduce TCC slip in 4-6 gears.
Increase the mph in upshifts on bottom end of TPS about 25%...
As far as engine goes, there are some timing stuff you can do, etc..
I am NO expert (yet). So others may chime in.
Look on youtube for some good tips. GoatRopeGarage is a good source there.

awesome thanks buddy I’m just trying to make it as smooth as I can with some added power and throttle response… love these engines but don’t like them stock, I want it to go when I want it to. How do you get 6th gear from shifting so early?

dial in maf with maf vs stft and im sure you can see some gains with pe as stock has it enabled at 5000 rpm

Just a standard tune setup with better shifting points and acceleration is all I want.. hate to spend a bunch of money when I don’t need to do much on computer

You need to at least post a tune and running log.

Tuning isn’t something that someone is going to be able to set this and that to certain values and you are done. It’s going to take a lot of reading and studying on your part.
