Base tune LT4 conversion and cam

    Hi guys,
I'm doing a Lt4 conversion on my Lt1 and also a cam swap.
My tuner said it?s not needed. I should be able to start the car and drive it to his dyno (around 80-100miles)
Do you know if this would be possible?

If else, I?m looking for a base tune.
Maybe someone is able to help to get it to his dyno after the installation.

    (Probably K&N CAI)
BTR Stage1 supercharged cam with VVT 0degree lockout

    EU stock file attached.

Not trying to sound like an arse or be disrespectful here, but are you sure you want to take it to that dyno shop? You just added a blower, cam with vvt lockout, cai and a different map sensor all together and they told you it would run on the stock NA tune for a 1.5 to 2 hour drive???

If you have an interface and you trust this shop then why can they not just make you up a base tune then make some fueling corrections via some short logs for you to drive it to them on?

I thought about that, too Greg.
I wasn’t sure about driving the car after these mods to him or even start the car. Therefore I asked here.
Because it’s a reputable tuner (for Dodge) and actually the only one who has got a dyno and is near me - that was my best option.
I think he’s never tuned a swap like this because there are at a maximum 2 cars in Germany like this. So maybe he thought it’s not necessary to get it a base tune.
Or he didn’t listen to me correctly when I asked him about a base tune.
I should double check with him if he’s saying the same again.

Got a base tune. Can someone possible check if this is ok to start and drive it daily without WOT?
My appointment for the final dyno tune is in 2 weeks.
