05 6.0 MAP Sensor Drop Out

    Hey guys,

While logging my 05 6.0 F250 with VCM Scanner, I noticed that the MAP sensor value drops out right before it reaches 37psi. However, MAP sensor voltage and Boost Pressure keep climbing.

    See attached screenshot.

I have looked at a few other logs posted here, and some trucks have the same behavior while others show MAP sensor values in the 40's.

Is this a scaling issue? Do i have a faulty MAP sensor? Any incite is appreciated.

Yes, the truck is tuned. I have not touched the MAP Transfer Function though.

I am starting to think that its just how VCM Scanner interprets the signal. The engine doesn't act any different when the MAP signal drops out. The boost pressure gauge on the cluster acts normal.
