    2013 ram 5.7 stalling

    I have a ram with a comp cams stage 2 mds deleted,it stalls when coming to a stop, also i have an code for the variable valve timing (limiter installed) anyone can help or give direction?

    Give me a few minutes and Ill see if I can sort that out for you and make a few adjustments to get you closer to what you are looking for. which comp stage 2 exactly do you have installed? (listed Duration, LSA, Lift, ect) And are you wanting some chop action, maybe while in Park? Or leave it as is? Any other issues you can think of?

    I also meant to ask you, what exactly is the VVT CEL code that's showing up there on your scanner? I think with the VVT CEL code info, along with the cam specs and having your tune in front of us, we should probably be able to figure out why it is you are throwing this VVT CEL and get that one figured out here. And I believe I was able to find two strong candidates in your tune here for being likely causes for your stalling when stopping issue. I went ahead and made those changes in the attached tune for you, and I also went ahead and made some adjustments in the "IDLE" portion of your tune, which can also cause stalling issues if either set to low or a bit erratic, as well as a few changes here and there throughout the tune that may affect either idling or stalling. So go ahead and try this one out and see if it helps out any. If for some reason you feel that it is messing with your idling too much, you can just disregard the changes made in the "IDLE" section and only make the other few changes. But if you do have any idling issues, go ahead and include the changes in that section as well and see if it helps a bit for that. If you have any other issues, we can wait to address those after we get these first two issues sorted out.

    I just noticed that a few of the changes in the idle area were missing so I am resending this tune. Use this one if you haven't loaded the initial one already. If you have, its not a big deal. Its still just fine but this revision here is what I intended to send in the first place.

    Did you get a chance to load up the revised tune that I posted on this thread for you last week? And it would still be helpful to know, what is the VVT CEL code that shows up on your scanner? And also, are you running a cam phase limiter or a cam phaser lock-out? And let me know if that VVT CEL code goes away for you after loading up the revised tune I posted. Thanks!
