Issues with new usb cable

After years of abuse my usb a to b cable on my mpvi 1 broke so I found another cable but now my wideband input doesnt read.

Is the hptuners cable special?

Has anyone else had this issue

I've replaced a few of these over the years. Not hard if you know how to desolder and solder PCB electronics and have the tools to do it. But I doubt that would keep a wide band from reading.

Any idea what my issue could be? using an innovate LC2 i have good voltage and I have tried 2 different widebands and 2 different inputs on my MPVI.

Likely a hardware issue, we haven't sold those devices in over 5 years now IIRC.
