Hi I have a problem tuning a Fiesta ST the desired lambda is going to lambda one when heavy load is applied while tuning on the dyno.
I have tried adjusting desired lambda down but no matter what is populated in calibration it always targets lambda 1 on heavy load.
Has anyone come across this before ?

When it's WOT lambda enrichment enabled? It's normally set at 90% pedal as it will target stoich when below this pedal position. What lambda are you asking for in the WOT power enrichment?
I have rescaled enrichment so at 65 it?s targeting 0.81 lambda I have even tried targeting low loads richer but soon as it hit high load it targets lambda 1Originally Posted by CFGBR95
Post your log. Desired lambda will move to give you the target fueling, just how the logic works. Sounds like its fat and needs leaned out some so the closed look isn't doing the heavy lifting.

There is a limiter that forced enleanment to reduce torque that is time based on some of the Ecoboost stuff. I had this issue with my '13 3.5, but I can't remember exactly what the parameter is.

trans truncation can do this as well as part throttle load limiter. Post a log of the issue
