GEN V Whipple IAT/TMAP reading -40

Hey guys I'm tuning my first gen V Whipple and instead of reusing the factory IAT sensor it seems to replace that and the MAP with a T-MAP style sensor. The issue we're having is the sensor only reads -40deg, which I believe means its stuck at a 5v output? The customer has gone over the wiring and says its all the same as what the instructions say. Does anyone have experience with this? Not sure if its something I have to change on my end or if its just an electrical issue/faulty sensor. Any help would be appreciated.
