21 ECM in a 22

I would like to put a 21 ECM in my 22 6.7 and start tuning it. I talked to my buddy at the Ford dealer and asked him if I could get a 21 ECM and have him program it to the truck. He said he has no problem doing it but was concerned how that would work. Normally you take the information out of the old ECM and download it into the new one, can you do that with different ECM?

the way it works is you take a 2021 pcm that has been tuned and put it on the 22 and program the keys, unless your using ktag or pcmflash and can copy over your eprom files.

All right I found a tuned 21 pcm, that's the route I'm going to go. Am I going to be able to do anything with traction control. I would like to make it when I turn it off its actually off
