    Configuration & Histogram Repository

Aight guys as many of you have already noticed LS1's are the default when it comes to the config files & histograms for the most part. Here you can post what configs have helped you along. Include in your post with this format:

    Year
    Make
    Model
Engine: LLY, LB7, LBZ or LMM
    OS: Engine & Transmission
    Vin
What the config is for? MAF tuning, General, etc.

If your post is missing anyone of those it will likely be deleted since I need that info to verify its a working configuration.

If you have custom histograms you'd like to post as well feel free. Same info is needed.

NOTE: Do not open the .cfg or .hst files with anything but the scanner.

The .cfg (configuration files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2 Directory

The .hst (histogram files) go in your:
    C:\Program Files\HP Tuners\VCMSuite2\Histograms Directory

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Creating a histogram all relys on what you want OUT of the histogram.

Asking, "does anyone have a good histogram" is like asking "does anyone have a good excel program" a good excel program for what? A monthly expense report or something to calculate how many home runs Barry Bonds hit on average in July for the last 10 years of his career.

Without knowing what YOU want makes it IMPOSSIBLE for others to know what you NEED.

Yea...that was kinda basic. Ok...let me re-phrase. I have the turbo vane position and EGR %, etc. However, is there a way to get the MAF or EGTs? And tranny temp as well.

They do but just because its a gauge doesn't mean its right. My 2002 ECSB shows 74mph on the gauge but the HP Tuner's scanner shows 72 mph so...there is some error there.

I would just like to scan the EGTs at that time in place....it could be by rpms, tps%, or a combination of both. And for the MAF, I don't really know b/c diesels don't have LTFTs from what I understand so would you do it based on boost, etc to get the MAF the correct measurements.

Tranny temp I would just like to log in the chart to see what the actual temp is compared to the gauge.

Also, can you log boost(psi) vs. rpm?

    Bill,

Have you had any progress on some standard diesel pid so new guys can just start out & go? Any word on RTT or a switchable tune for the LBZ'S Chevys?

Did you guys figure out how to do Tran slip yet?? Just this one would be great for now....Thanks.
