    Traction Active 2005 silverado

Anyone run into an issue when changing tire size and gear ratio on a 2005 silverado 1500 2wd and it setting the traction active light and pulling a bunch of power out when you get up to speed say 60 mph. Push the traction control button and power comes right back. Tune is the same as before the only change was done with gear and tire wizard for tire size.

Out of curiosity, what size tires are you running now?

There's no programming or setup in the EBCM on a 2005, so tire size can't be adjusted there. Did find this in the manual though...

Programming the Traction Control Automatic Engagement Feature

The automatic engagement feature may be programmed so that the traction control system activates or does not activate automatically at the start of each ignition cycle. In order to change the status of the automatic engagement feature, perform the following procedure:

Important: Failure to follow the correct procedure may cause DTC C0283 to set in EBCM memory.

Park the vehicle and apply the parking brake.
Unlock the ignition and shift the transmission into NEUTRAL (N).
Turn the ignition ON, engine OFF.
Press and hold the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal.
Press and hold the traction assist switch for 5 seconds.
Release the brake and accelerator pedals and the traction control switch.
    Turn the ignition OFF.

Tires are just a touch bigger than stock. Height wise. Im not sure what size they are this is on a friend of mines truck. The speedometer was off about 5mph with the new wheels and tires so he wanted me to update them in the tune. Well when I updated them using the wizard it would set the traction active message anything above about 55 mph. Ive never ran into this before on a gen 3. Flash the original tune back in and it doesnt do it.
