65rfe lockup tuning

I have a question I would like answered. When shutting the mds off in a 2012ish 65rfe, are the partial lockup tables then null and void? Once the mds is no longer working, there is no need for partial lockup. I am in the process of learning the newer tables for the rfe. If I read correctly, they use turbine rpm for the partial lockup and output shaft rpm for the partial to full lockup table. Is this a correct assumption?

All lockup tables uses turbine rpm and the unlock to partial lockup tables always get called in the code. There is nothing that nulls them out.
