    2003 Cummins fuel limited

Hello, I have been learning to tune my 5.9 cummins and tried all possible combinations of fuel limiters to see if I can get full fuel demanded. What ever I do I never see more than 135 mm3 and it drops back to 127mm3 after. (at wot). I am wondering if this can be caused by duration not being long enough for 150mm3 to be delivered? or just a limiting factor somewhere i'm not seeing?

here is a log and my tune.

your channels list needs more pids added, also the tune has the pulse limiter on still and turn off the torque management

Thanks so much, I will try these changes!
I also noticed I no longuer have access to the transmission tab, when I open it, it's just blank, did I somehow deactivate it?? (auto trans of course)

no trans maps for the older 03-04 cm845 ecm's anything you saw likely didn't work and has been gone for some time now.
also uncompensated fuel rate is what you want to watch

Hello, I am having issues understanding my fueling situation. I was initally limited by the all speed governor around 120 ish mm3, I bumped it up to 6500 rpm so the all speed governor limit is now 160mm3. However, now it always seems to command more than what im asking for (pedal map) and also PW doesnt seem to match up with the data im looking at. Also, my recording says its injecting 160mm3 at 100% throttle but I dont believe thats true since the boost isn't going over 26 psi and once the turbo picks up it won't blow any black smoke. So either im not getting 160mm3 of fuel or my pressure sensor is reading wrong?

the driver's demand is what you're asking for (mm3), in the governor's tab you can use droop to control the fueling rate and also use boost limit in injection limits as well. your pulse is very low as well FYI depending on what you'd like to make for power.
your channels need some added like in the pic I sent, all in all, it looks like a mild tow tune here so far, max fuel I leave at 400mm3 (stock) as well as the high-speed governor I leave stock., pid feedback I leave alone.
moving up the rpm's means it will not governer the engine the same way as OEM, all things can change how it fuels so massive time is needed to get it how you want it.
i would start with this file attached and then use the driver's demand, droop, and boost vs fuel limits to make it do what you want it to do. this is like a street tune and I gave it some love for you but nothing too special. post a log up with a good run using the skinny pedalAttachment 130534

Thanks a lot! I did a record, seems better now. It was still burning clean up top so i bumped the PW up some more but haven't tested it yet

you'll be on the edge with timing and fuel, hopefully, you have an egt in there. high-speed gov took over and pull mm3 down but It fueled the same how the pulse was set

No I don't have an egt, I thought it would be fine if i'm not pluming black smoke (besides at the start of Wot before the turbo picks up) and also i'm never towing and when I am its light stuff. Should I be worried? I gave the Hp tuner obd back to my friend and left this tune in

PW is 3000 at the bottom right, max boost I saw was 29 psi and heard you could push 35 on stock turbo so I figured it was probably fine as it was.
Should I switch back to PW of 2500 like you had done? Your help is much appreciated.

Yep you should switch back. That timing map is better suited for a 2100-2200us tune not 3000. If you had an egt gauge you would have answered your own question

3000us needs way more timing and is on the edge of a race tune, the boost vs fuel map should be used to hold back the fuel and smoke. i would own an mpvi if I was you. i shoot for as smoke free as possible with bigger turbos, stock turbo should run 100% clean with a good tune and 3200us
