    2012 ZL1 Lazy Throttle

    Looking for some input/advice,

I recently changed the cam, exhaust, pulley etc. on my 2012 ZL1 and after some tuning by a local "professional" it seems to run and idle faily decent. I havent run it much yet, just took it out and logged some part throttle data. Issue is the throttle seems "lazy" on the bottom end and at take off. I myself made some changes and its better, and possibly the best it will get with the engine mods.

Wondering if someone has run into this before or could look at the tune, and log to see if there are any other changes that could or should be changed.

    BTR Stage 4, 235/252, .628/.600
2.5 Pulley with mild porting on the snout
1 7/8 long tubes, high flow cats with 3" and no mufflers (currently)

He did, just no space showing before the log file so it looks like one file.

I thought the whole purpose of the big-huge PD blower cams with super extra wide lobe separation was to make the low end soggy as hell, for traction or whatever, in exchange for more top end where the blower starts to hit the efficiency wall?

Honestly can't believe you paid for that, but whatever... Add some timing in the lower load ranges. Just extend that hump in the factory timing table on up. That will take care of a lot of it. You can also tweak other things like PE some more to aid it. Biggest benefits will be a TB upgrade and cai if you don't have one, but you'll need injectors at that point.

Thank you, I've added some timing already and its getting better. It isn't bad, we've all driven bigger cams, I was just looking for the "perfect" set up if anyone has come across it yet.

I apologize sincerely for getting a little chuckle out of reading "Hi I installed a huge cam and now my low speed is bad help please". I should not have done that. I am a bad person.
