    Throttle body Tuning 2016 Sliverado 5.3 8L90

    I'm trying to get my throttle body closer to a 1-1 ratio with the gas pedal. I know some spark tables tend to limit how fast it opens aswell, I'm still fairly new at this. learning as I go. I know you can buy "pedal commanders" but I have the MPVI so I'd like to just use it any help is appreciated. I'll Add my current tune here. its stock for the most part. HighcountryTransTune8.hpt

    Pedal "feel" will be a two sided coin. You can primarily make changes to pedal in the driver demand tables, but you'll find a lot of the weird dips or climbs are a representative counter from the torque model.

    What throttle body do you have? Stock, 95mm?

    Pedal "feel" was terribly inconsistent on my 2014 Silverado L83/6L80, it was like trying to drive it pressing on a memory foam marshmallow. Replacing the original sensor/pedal assembly with GM part #23362231 solved about 40-50% of my drivability issues. Once I have all of my mechanical issues sorted out, I may have a couple of questions for Mr. GHuggins if you don't mind.

    Yes.. plenty of people are unaware of how much the pedal assembly flexes.


    I've never installed one but the pedal commanders are actually kind of nice. I know you can do the same with HPTuners but the ones I've played with in customer cars are smooth and natural feeling and you can go up and down with the sensitivity without a laptop.
