that sounds like the parking pawl skipping, like its not fully releasing/spooling down reverse and going into neutral (park is neutral, plus locking pawl) or you've placed it in park while rolling backwards and its rounded over. for now, id put it in drive/neutral before going into park, use your parking brake, and try not to park uphill. how well does it engage from drive?
i dont even shift while rolling, always stopped when shifting. itll do it without moving , just shift to reverse and then back to park. engaged rev or drive without hesitation. where i live u CANT NOT park on a hill of some sort. fluid looks good, shifts beautifully ( bluecat tuned), kinda think im just gonna ignore it till it becomes an issue lol. im not tearing a trans apart, if i take it down, its getting a new one, just kinda wanna know cause, doesnt seem to be a common 4l80e sound.
