Different displays of VCM Editor 5.0.4 between laptop & desktop?

Am a complete Newbie so apologize for unfamiliarity. Loaded the VCM Editor on Toshiba laptop & also my destop. Made sure they are the same versions but displays & content are very different. Laptop displays much more options and I am unable to save files on the desktop. I know I'm doing something wrong, any help appreciated.

Make sure you are in advanced view under the edit tab.

Try plugging your device into the computer to sync it and then see if it lets you save the files.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

First time VCM Suite is installed on a new machine it defaults to 'Basic' view.
