Is it possible to run RaceRender on Linux somehow?

    Hi!

I am on Linux most of the time for work reasons and any time I need to use RaceRender I have to boot up on Windows. Does anyone know if it is possible to run RaceRender somehow in Linux or if the devs could maybe create a Linux runnable?

Overall great product though! Keep up the good work guys.

I believe a number of the functionality used in exporting the video likely takes advantage of Windows-specific libraries. I know there is a Mac version that might be a step in the right direction?

You could always try opening it in Wine and just attempt using it that way. I haven't really seen many other Linux questions on the forum here previously, but maybe that can gain some traction if/when they start hiring someone new to help maintain it.

You can run it in Linux under Wine or other Windows emulators. I've done it recently with ZorinOS and it worked just fine. Render times were not fully tested since updated GPU drivers are needed to get the full benefit but it definitely works using that method.
