    help with time advancing

    which chart is the one to advance the timming and what chat chart do you use to get a firmer shift

    When I first got HPT I thought there would be a Spark vs RPM vs TPS chart or something...I pictured it way less complicated lol..

    Glad it is the way it is though...once you figure out what works its all cool..

    yeah its rpm vs. cylinder air basically.

    What I mean is when I first got it I kinda pictured a chart with two, three or a max of four rows and a column for each RPM interval, nothing more

    I thought it would be as easy as saying I want 24* at 4400 RPMs, 26* at 4800, etc.

    I dont know why, I guess at the time I had different perceptions on how the PCM worked...

    yeah but then you would have people in the features request section asking for more resolution hehe...simple is good until you actually learn what your doing then you want more & more
