    E40 maf tuning

    Hello all, I'm trying to tune my maf. E40 ecu. So the equivalence ratio command in lambda is rich above 1.00 and lean below correct? Is problem I'm having I think is in the math. I'm running lean is my scanner table is show me negative values. I have read somewhere about inverting the values. Anyone have dealt with these issues with the e40 ecu??

    Above 1 in EQ Ratio is rich, below 1 in Lambda is rich.

    Yes I understand that. But my math in the scanner is ass backwards. It's lean and giving negative values. Looking for the correct expression..

    Don't use Lambda, the ECM is using EQ. Make your wideband report in EQ, set up your graph to use EQ, against Commanded EQ. All the units have to be the same for the error % to work right.

    EQ ratio in the log is lambda λ. See the symbol next to it? EQ ratio in the tune is phi ϕ, which is the inverse of lambda. Lambda is AFR, phi is FAR.

    λ = 1/ϕ
