Need help with a burble tuning.. a mild one

I?m tuning my Dads CTS-V and he wants a mild burble tune (I?m new to tuning) so I did it and it sounds really good. Only problem is when he is at 3k rpm in 3rd or 4th gear it surges kinda bad..I'm thinking it?s the max torque timing or main timing, I did the minimum spark base, idle adaptive spark base,
    coastdown.

personally i would put those tables all back to what you had before and make it burble through the DFCO raise the [ECM] 18698 - Minimum RPM Rate to Disable DFCO: to 4000 and adjust the timing in both entry spark and exit spark and CFCO timing

What kind of entry spark and exit spark should I go?

Although you'll find that methodology you have in the tune will work for produce burgling, it will also create jerking as the driver goes from 35* of timing and hits the zero timing area. I dont like to pull timing like that from the main tables to create gurlging.

Lower your entry blend time by multiplying.5 and take your entry spark down to 5 degrees from 4000 down. As for your exit spark it can also go to 5 degrees from 4000 down.

you only need to change the spark coastdown for burble put the base and octane tables back as found. your surge is
from 0 spark in octane tables

No the fireballs igniting in the exhaust that makes the burble sounds will. Also will burn up cats if he still has them.

Okay, as long as its not popping and banging like the bmw boiz with their stage 5 burble tunes.

in my experience the popping and banging happen when the cfco is set to not kick in. [ECM] 2299 - CFCO Enable ECT: ECT must be above this value to enable CFCO is set to 400 degrees it allows the fuel to continue flowing till the dfco kicks in that is when you get all the popping, banging and backfires that would kill an O2 sensor or cats. on manual cars
