Messed up tune

I got a 2018 Duramax that I bought 8 months ago. Was HP tuned by somebody? Had multiple recalls open, I took to GM dealer in Raleigh who corrupted tune. Looking someone in NC near Raleigh region who can unlock and set up again. No seperate tuner, looks like ECM was sent and reworked then reinstalled. Truck goes in limp mode , clears itself, runs little rough, then back all over again. I dont think I need everything reinstalled just reset up. Found 2 guys near me who could do up to 2016, one man in Concord who said he could reprogram but is 3.5hrs away to tow truck. One guy from my used car dealer can do it but, sayes I need it all at $4k but cant find the parts available. Thanks!!

To be precise I am getting error code P0205,Cylinder 5 injector control circuit. Multiple warnings check engine light, stabila trac. In 140miles I will not be able to go faster than 185mph, etc. Was fine when I left GM dealer 5 weeks ago then messed up 5 days afterward.

What mods have been done? This doesn't sound like a tune issue.

Module scan being 1 DTC for ECM
1 P0205 for cyl 5 inj control circuit
1 P020E CYL 5 INJ TIMING
Emmision system screen
see owners manual now screen
engine power is reduced screen
check engine light
stabila trac light

Doubt there is much in either a modified tune or a stock rewrite that could affect a single injector. Sounds more like a mechanical/electrical failure.

How would I know whats been done, bought truck after Hp tune was done, no info. Litttle sticker on ECM. GM world class tech couldnt finish recalls cause he an GM tech support couldnt finish recall program in ECM. So yeah I could have a another issue. Truck wasnt as strong as few months back, GM dealer changed fuel filter,oil,serviced brakes,recalls and ECM.

Thanks, gonna have fuel injector checked in the morning. he agreed with your assesment of only 1 P0 code.

GM tools will not be able to flash our unlocked ecms as outlined on the E41 ecm unlock page. Sounds like your ecm is internally failing and will need to be replaced to me. Injector circuit failures are a very common error when its failing.
