    ECU identification - help!

Hey guys, do you guys have a source or way of identifying the ecu in the vehicle ahead of time before it is read? Like if a customer calls me and i want to look up their ecu to see my options, where would i find this info? I use all types of programs and websites but nothing gives me this. Thanks

Not public. Would require years and years of research and documentation more than likely. Thats essentially how we did it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

They only thing you'd really be able to know if what style of computer it came with.

    Like a 2002 Silverado would be a P01, a 2004 Silverado would be a P59 and so on.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
