Hellcat going lean on bank 1 as load increases.

    2016 Hellcat
    HHP 411 Stroker
    HHP Cam
    4.5 Whipple
    Fore Fuel System
    ID1700
    Stock trans
    Stock TB for now

Tuning this setup and no matter what it leans out on bank 1 as it goes into boost and will not richen up. There are no vacuum leaks, no obstructions in the fuel system, preload on the lifters is perfect, compression test is perfect and I flow tested the injectors which are perfect. The engine seems to run vastly different bank to bank, 9% all the way to 32%. As load goes up, bank 1 just gets leaner and leaner until the fuel trims are maxxed out and it can't add any more fuel. Just looking for advice on this issue.

Mechanically it's perfect. I've gone over it several times.

If mechanically OK next logical step would be injectors. Swap banks 4 to 4 and see it the problem migrates from side to side.

On the other hand LTFT fights againt STFT - try to reset adaptations, you might be chasing your own tail.

And your SD bank to bank tables are fooekd up...

whoever wrote that part does not like the flow of that blower or that manifold very much

might be spot on just like it is - i dont know

Nothing justifies setting SD tables like that.

im sure his logic is that the blower discharge is not producing even airflow to both banks

that "momentum is conserved in the absence of external forces" (newton?)

once that thing is on boost tho, he has it thinking bank 1 is getting almost 30% more air than bank 2

    You create theories on demand?

That so called "uneven discharge" is worth 2-3% not 30%...flat earth makes 5% so...

The SD tables are jacked because I was throwing fuel at it to see if anything would change for bank 1. It stayed lean however.

at that rpm and p ratio bank 1 should have been getting 50% more fuel than bank 2

iirc someone else was having the same problem recently

if it were mine i would weld in a couple bungs and install my own wide bands

If anyone is still following this post.... I had a similar problem to this but it was not with a Hellcat, it was with my Supercharged RT.....

The problem was the 02 sensors. I replaced my upstream O2 sensors with NTK O2 sensors.... the computer didn't like the NTK O2's.

I installed MOPAR 02 sensors and the problem disappeared.

I know Hellcats have wideband 02s and RTs have narrowband, but it is worth a shot.
