Open loop eq error log problems

    A new question...

I want log the open loop eq error via wideband and set the power enrichement table.

    Problem :

too much data and no filter that seperates the open loop from closed loop.

I log pressure ratio vs rpm with eq error (maths), but get data from deceleration and other conditions.

The filter commanded Y <0,99 doesnt help at all, even map or throttle.

What filter did you use for road logging or did you use the max negative logged values ?

I filter OL by only using the data when FA enrichment is > 0 and when the relative accelerator pedal is > 1.0V.
Now you can use the EQ Commanded < 1.0 to define OL but this parameter has a much slower refresh rate than the FA enrichment.
Relative accelerator pedal > 1.0V is to try and eliminate decel transients when you lift off the pedal

    Hey, thanks.
So simple that my face turns to red…

    Fa enrichment should work.
Whats the power enrichment, this value shows 0 all the time ?

can someone post what these filters look like and how to implement them for those trying to figure this out as well?

Here the example of my OL error filter:
    OL EQ Error Filter.PNG

[6065] is the EQ commanded channel ID and [3203.10] is the relative accelerator pedal voltage channel ID in my particular case.

Now don't just use these ID's. Find them for your particular vehicle platform by clicking on the "New Variable" button.

Note: you will need to have these parameters in your channel list and log for them to work in the filter.

    Thanks.
I have played around with it and it works.

To get more data in Ol, I ll set the pedal to 1,5V. treshold.
My Afr is at 10.5-11,5 at this time - a little low, I think 12,2 is a goos and safe number.

    1.5v?

i want my afr to be above 13 with that little throttle

12.2 is safe for 100% load

When FA Enrichment is used as filter, it will also collect data from cold start.

With EQ Commanded it collects only the warm engine data.

But no matter what, I got always data from deceleration, even when I set 50091.156>30 - accel ped bigger then 30%

Should I turn off the fuel cut off ?

    Real hard with Dodge….

You can add additional filters such as & ECT>80C or something like that so it only grabs the data once warm.

Strange that you are still getting decel data when you have filtered out the pedal voltage. In addition, the FA enrich should very quickly decay to 0 on decel so it should filter out that data.

In HP some strange things will happens to me…
Injector data gets upside down in scanner and shows data in opposite, but will work when insert in editor….
change the power enrichement tables to flat 12 afr will give me a stoich mass and broke a piston on sc….
These shit always happens on Dodge tuning…

I will set the etc filter…see what happens
    thanks.

Btw, engine runs on 185 deg. - hope this is not the problem.
