Overwrite SCT Tune with hp tuners

How's it going, I have a question for the experts I got a 2005 Ford F-250 with a 6.0 Powerstroke and it is tuned with SCT, the handheld does not exist and neither does the previous owner or the stock file, can HP tuners Write over the SCT without returning it to stock?

I actually have not tried reading out the truck just to be on the safe side, and i dont know the strategy, but im wondering if i can get a read with hp and find strategy, can i over write over the sct?
