Sounds like the PCM needs upgraded before you can read it. Wonder if that's a misprint. I'd think they'd be like the E90s where the cal is provided via internet.

It is MPVI3 only boys on these for sure if you want to open them up. Overall great success with these so far.

What is the C8 calibration file closer too? A 2021 Silverado (Global B) or 2019 C7 ZR1? Also, any plans to create a C8 course in the near future?

I was able to open this with my mpvi2+. The version of beta i have includes the cat tests and exhaust tab for the c8 but still not on gen 4 trucks. Im sure by the time this is open to the rest of us it will be gone.

Absolutely bonkers that you can't even see the tune unless you are one of the chosen 75!

Aren't turbo kits around $20k for them? Not to mention the market adjustments on the C8's most of which are still selling for over $100k. If you are adding mods I would think tuning is kind of essential in that equation.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    To answer 04silverado6.0: MPVI2...

No big deal for me, just was curious to look at how GM has them set up. I don't quite understand why you can't even see the tune in the software unless you have a certain piece of hardware attached. But, not my company, not my rules.

I would say closer to a 21 Global B but the C8 also has been out awhile with several years and OS's out there and we are finding out everyday different things concerning these variables. We are neck deep finishing FORD and moving into Recording Powersports very soon. We will teach a Global B class but it will not be until we finish up what we have on our plate including DODGE. I can assure you this is the deep end of the pond currently and we are having great success with HPTuners but it is a different world we are entering for sure.

    How so?
Is it a different tuning strategy, or an extension of the E92 etc GMVE with added tables?
Or is it a completely new set or way of thinking?
    I always tune VVE....
