    411 ECM swap gen 2 1996 LT!

decided to try the 411 swap into my 54 chev hot rod with a 1996 5.7 LT1. This swap eliminates the dreaded optispark unit. The optispark is now only used as a distributer and the crank sensor is used by the 411 to time the spark. 411 is out of a 2001 Express van 2500 5.7 Vortec. Started Ok with the stock tune with the vats shut off. Can't seem to rev the engine above an idle with the trans set to manual. I have a t56 in the 54. Runs fairly well when set for an auto tranny. Any tunes out there for a auto to manual 411 swap?
    Thanks

Pretty sure the fuel injector impedance difference between lt and ls has to be accounted for.

Thanks folks. I'm really new at this and don't know how to post a tune. Please advise.

click the go advanced button at the bottom right.
click add files, navigate to your latest tune and click it.
    then click upload file.
    Then add file to post.
that should be it. Also do the same for your log file if you have one.
But yes, you cant just input the tune from another engine and be good to go. There is quite a bit of things that neeed changed.

    411 swap

2001 Express Van unit 2 auto tranny idle up 150 stall saver up 100 + spark advance 9.5 PID4.hpt2001 Express Van unit 2 auto tranny idle B1000 R950 cranking spark 20 spark 28.81 PID4.hpt2001 Express Van unit 2 auto tranny idle B1000 R950 cranking spark 20 spark 29.80 flood clear m.hpt6-20 Tune #1 best.hpl

OK. Tunes are in order as I advanced the spark. Car ran better each adjustment and never had a spark knock. I tried changing tranny to manual and that's when it would not accelerate above an idle. I continue having problems first start of the day. Once I drive it a little then it starts fine. One other issue the idle wants to stay up around 2K after you release the throttle. When the speed drops below 5 mph the idle returns to normal. When I added the crank sensor I also upgraded the cam to a LT4 hot cam. I would say stage 1 and roller tappets and rockers.
    Thanks for any ideas.

Segment swap the manual trans/diagnostics from the same OS and try again.
Sometimes just choosing manual from auto just doesn't work.
