Thread: MPVI2+ Will Not Read

    Angry MPVI2+ Will Not Read

I have a MPVI2+ I bought new and just got around to using.

    It will not read.

I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and VCM Suite.

I have restarted my PC many times.

    Cycled KOEO many times.

Disconnected and reconnected at USB's and OBD port.

What the heck could it be?

It'll give the option to write, but not read.

I can use the scanner fine to log. Jut can't get it to read the tune file on my car!

Is it failing to read, or the it won't even let you click the read button? I read your post as it won't even let you click.... apologizes if this is obvious, but you need to NOT have a tune file open in order for the read button to work/do anything.

    click file-close

You can't read an ecm if you have a file open.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

A wise man once said "google it"

It doesn't even allow me to click the read button. Only the write works.
