Top speed limiter, how high can I go?

    Hello everyone, quick question.
I have a 2006 Dodge magnum That I need to remove the top speed limiter on.
My current Diablo tuner will only allow me to raise the limit to 190mph.
Will a Mpvi unit allow me to adjust this higher or delete altogether?

Thanks for any input. I don't want to pull the trigger on the Mpvi until I can get this confirmed.

Your 2006 Dodge Magnum is hitting the 190mph speed limiter? What's done to it?

You can answer this yourself if you can find a tune file for a similar vehicle posted here in the forums. Install the HPT software (it's fully functional in demo mode, except for flashing, which you can't do anyway unless you have the hardware) and you can open the tune file. Mouseover any parameter and it shows the allowed values in a tooltip at the bottom. (shown is a GM file, I don't have any weird Dodge stuff, sorry)

OR, I could look in the repository and find a 2006 Magnum file. Duh.

In case you'd like to look through it yourself, too weird for me, man...

Awesome! Thank you for the response. 255mph is way faster than I need but it's good to know I can crank it up that high.

What the difference in limit 1 vs limit 2? Is it referring to the banks? Or an engine additive?

Not seeing limit 1 and limit 2. Only speed limiter as a function of speed.
