2019 Raptor Having Trouble Reading TCM

I am trying to help a friend to pull his stock tune off of a 2019 Raptor to send to ZFG for tuning but for some reason after about 20 minutes it finishes, save the file, and its not pulling the TCM tune. I am using the latest beta and an MPVI3, not sure what i'm doing wrong here or if anyone here has had the same problem and a solution?

Try syncing the MPVI to the laptop your using.

How crazy? I thought mine was the only one! My 2019 (non-raptor) will read the PCM and it also reads about 10 of the ?transmission? tables sort of like an incomplete read with it. Then when I try to read the TCM, it goes through about 85%-90% of the read and then gives me a ?non-response? error. Every time! I?ve tried it about a dozen times now. I?ve got the mpvi3 also. I brought it up to them and they said they believe it is a ?battery issue? but I can read the ecu 10x in a row without starting and never have an issue but one time with the TCM and it gives me the error.

I tried Sync the MPVI and it didnt work again. So I reinstalled HP Tuners beta over again and did a resync. I did Flash > Gather Info > Read. Then finally now it pulled down the TCM info with the tune. When I did gather information the other times the TCM didnt show but this time it did. Before that I got an incomplete read and only a few trans tables showed up in the editor.

My F150 and explorer ST are tuned by ZFG, good choice. Only advice I have is go in VCM editor to help>about and make sure you have the latest version of HPT. Also email Adam if you cant get it to work.
