you cant read it??
No I can't read. I am using hp tuners. It allows me to write a tune to it. But I can not read the tune. I would like to at least read the tune to save in cause, what I tune goes horribly wrong. So I won't touch Intil I can read.
pm me
alright i have messaged you
I have the same problem with the same year truck. Would you mind sharing the solution? Thanks
did you tune with efilive?
The solution is to get EFI Live for 2007.2-2009 trucks. All the emissions are mapped out to disable in the software.
2019 CCSB Bighorn - Excited HP Tuners finally supported Cummins CM2350&2450 platforms
What is untrue about it? For the 2007.5-2009 Cummins, EFILive has emissions off parameters mapped out, fact. For 2007.5-2009 Cummins EFILive allows turning off emissions related DTC’s, fact. 2007.5-2009 HP Tuners does not have emissions parameters mapped out, fact. 2007.5-2009 Cummins, HP Tuners does not allow turning off emissions related DTC’s, fact. Most EFILive tuned trucks use the EFILive CSP and have ECM read disable turned on and attempting to read with HP Tuners can and likely will put the ECM into being stuck in ROM boot, fact. Vast majority of people out their really have no clue how to set emissions off properly through hex or user defined parameters or anything even tuning related, fact.
Trust me, it’s in there, and not as a user defined parameters from cax
In fact it also has emissions parameters for the Duramax engines up to 2016
Not making it up.

I actually checked 7.5 earlier on a hunch that's what you were referring to and saw that you were right. Learn something everyday.
I'm assuming if I make those changes in v7.5 then load it with v8 they will still be there.
yes
That's good to know for future hypothetical situations.
nothing changes in the tune file its self opening it in v7.5 or v8
