    Changing T42 module on a licensed E38

I have a 2013 E38 that I am using on a hot rod project. I received a T42 with the E38, plugged them into the harness, did a read entire and licensed them. Then I found out that the T42 was a pre 2009 and would not work with my 4L80E. The company then sent me a 2009+ T42, but I would like to know if I will have to use more credits when I do another read?
    Thanks

Nope, just read the ecm and tcm again and that will be your NEW base file. The TCM license for these is based off of the ECM license, so just read, modify & tune away!
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
