Is it possible to view what's defined in the E41 without unlocking?

It seems to me in the past I was able to connect to my VW and pull down a stock file without using any credits, just to view how the ECU was defined. On the E41 I receive a message it must be unlocked FIRST.

I have a few interests including exhaust brake strategy, killing the idle timeout, and changing the fuel tank capacity, but I have not been able to find a stock hpt to see what's defined.

But you cant alter the remote start run time limits, that's through the BCM.
